Port Colborne Girls Hockey Association

Player Movement & Permission to Tryout

Overview

The Port Colborne Girls Hockey Association (PCGHA) follows the Ontario Women’s Hockey Association (OWHA) policies regarding player movement and tryouts. These guidelines ensure that players and families understand the process for moving between associations and participating in tryouts hosted by other OWHA teams.

πŸ”„ Player Movement

If you wish to leave the Port Colborne Girls Hockey Association and join another OWHA association, no formal release request is needed.
Simply register with your new association through RAMP Registration β€” this automatically notifies both registrars and a release will be issued electronically.

Contact Restrictions & Tampering Policy

  • No Contact: Other association team members or staff cannot contact a player without permission from the home association president or their designate.

  • Tampering Warning: Failure to follow this rule is considered tampering and can result in penalties for the association, coaching staff, and player.

Important:
This form is not a player release. All player releases are completed electronically through the RAMP registration platform. Players must follow these guidelines to ensure a fair and transparent tryout process.
