Update in response to the Niagara Region going to Red starting Dec 21, 2020.
Though the change to red begins during our normal 2-week pause for the Holidays that we have every year it may extend beyond depending on the Government of Ontario, OWHA and the Niagara Region.
Though development is permitted during the Red Control Zone restrictions, it is not viable for the PCGHA to do so. Under the Red Zone restrictions, 10 people are permitted in the arena. This cap of 10 includes players, coaches, trainers, and arena staff. We have ice booked and are in talks with our other centres so that we can get right back to hockey as soon as we move back into the orange or higher control zones. As we do not feel that this is the end of the 2020-2021 season we will not be offering pro-rated refunds at this time.
As new information becomes available we will send out updates.
Note: When we return to play it may start off with jumping right into playing games vs having a practice first.
